This is my shameless promotion for Trader Joe’s. I’ve got a lot of favorite products there but this is the latest- Salted Caramel Chai Tea Latte. I don’t do 100% of my shopping at any one store, but I do the majority at Trader Joe’s- especially for my organic produce. The items I tend to buy there have simple ingredient lists and high quality taste. I love the size of the store because I know where everything is. I can get in and out in 15 minutes. Unless I’m sans kids and then I might wander the aisle’s reading labels and finding new finds for a bit. When the kids do come, we always have to stop at the sample booth, and this was being showcased on a recent winter day. It tastes magical. It does have caffeine, so darn, I can’t share it with the kids. It is pretty sweet but you can adjust how much mixture you put in. I am not one to buy mixes (I prefer to be able to pronounce all of my ingredients), so it’s kind of a big deal for me to fall for something like this. But sometimes we need a treat, and on a cold, busy afternoon, this is definitely my go-to pick me up. If you like salted caramel anything, I suggest you get yourself some for the long weekend ahead.
